Oh SNOW!

I absolutely love snow
reason number 1: It actually warms the air. It can't be -10f and snowing at the same time:)
reason number 2: look what I can do!

. . .I can now make snowmen/women/children/peeps. snow sticks togethr more than sand, and it looks a lot prettier with a scarf and hat on it.
reason 3: there are so many good Christmas time songs that have to deal with snow from "slow dancing in the snow" to "once there was a snowman" I get these songs in my head and they make me happy.

People probably think I'm crazy for skipping through the snow rather than sloshing through the slush on the sidewalks. I want to play in the snow so bad. If only snow weren't so wet, or if winter clothes were more water proof. I'll still manage to get a "*sigh*. . . freshman" compliments today. How does everyone know I'm a Freshman? anywho. I'm going outside as of now :) It is my almost favorite type of snow right now.

Slowly falling, not a breath of wind, and all the noise of the world seems to be absorbed in the snow. as a result it seems more quiet and peaceful.

I have the cutest little brother. Last night he said the prayer and included "thank you for, and please let us have a lot of fun with our family and a lot of snow. . .and games. . .and hot chocolate" in his prayer last night. At first it seems silly to thank God for the snow and hot chocolate, when we 'grow up' we don't think to pray for those simple things as much. I honestly think we should all be greatful for any weather that comes our way, even if it isn't the most comfortable, it is better to be thankful and excited for the snow, than to murmer about the cold. You're not going to get one without the other. ;)

well toodeloo!
